Ewa Uryga – one of the most outstanding Polish jazz singers releases her ninth album. The album is entitled Between Voice & Bass and is recorded in an intimate line-up, accompanied by a double bass and percussion instruments.

The musical space between the vocals and the warm-sounding double bass is delicately filled with rhythms that harmonize with the compositions.

The program of the album Between Voice & Bass includes beautiful jazz standards from the repertoire of such world legends as: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Natalia Cool and Wynton Marsalis.

The project is dominated by clarity of form, purity of sound, different moods depending on the repertoire, as well as interesting improvisations characterizing jazz music.
